Emergency Response Systems
Emergency Response Systems are designed for seniors who are living alone and may be subject to falls or seizures. Some devices monitor motion, non-response to set timings, medical conditions and video surveillance. An electronic device enables the user to contact help in case of a medical emergency. A number of private companies offer systems which link the user with designated contact persons and local emergency services on a 24-hour basis.
