Guardianship
When someone is no longer capable of making sound health, legal or financial decisions a physician my deem them incompetent. You must then go before a judge and request that a guardian be appointed. A guardian can be appointed by Probate Court or it can be a friend or family member. There are strict court procedures and recordkeeping for supervision and maintaining conservatorship and guardianship.
