Senior Centers

Most counties have a local senior center that offers a variety of services. Getting involved in a local senior center is one of the best ways to stay young. Contrary to what most people think "old people" do not hang out at the senior centers. They are usually filed with your most active seniors. Many of them volunteer to help keep those who are less able remain independent. Check with your individual county center for specific services.
