Utility Companies and Assistance

Most gas, electric and water companies have a program that will notify you if your senior loved ones service is about to be disconnected for nonpayment. This is an especially useful service if you're dealing with Alzheimer's and them denying that they need help managing things. Financial assistance is available from most utilities for seniors that are on a limited income. Contact your local Township Trustees office or Community Action of your county.
